“This website has been a great challenge to get right. It’s a beautifully unique historic building and it needs to be shown in it’s best light.” – Craig
This site is a work in progress and we are constantly updating and improving it by adding better functionality and usability. There are various galleries and a blog section and we are currently adding our bespoke backend dashboard for the website owner.
We are using an attention grabbing slider on the home page which incorporates text, images and video which can be played in the slider itself. There’s also clearly identified social media contact details and phone number. “It’s so important for users to be able to see your contact details quickly.”
This slide shows a YouTube video which can be played inside the slider without leaving the site. We can use any videos you like here.
The slider can incorporate your beautiful images as well. Below, we have used images of the client’s premises to show the user the interior of this unusual property. Text beside the image conveys basic pertinent information and a button allows the user to access further information.
We have used a clear button to the booking facility and the main, unique selling points of this property have been highlighted to draw the users attention.
The gallery feature allows us to present the main images which can be clicked on to open up a lightbox which can be viewed in two sizes. The user can also click on the “Read More” buttons to read an article about that particular image. We can also set it up to load videos in the lightbox or link to external websites.
The blog/news page is well set out with text extracts, an image which opens in a lightbox, comments, tags, date and category and a button for further in-depth reading of the article.
The video section features a revolving video gallery plus individual videos which open in a lightbox when clicked and have a button for any attached article.
